Hi,

I am Charlotte, the owner of ‘Inspired to accomplish tutoring’. My company was born out of my desire to be more available to my own son, while being able to continue with my passion for teaching and personalised learning.

I am a qualified primary teacher (post graduate certificate of education) with a degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and a background in Early Years Development.

I believe that all children are unique in their personalities, rates of development and learning styles, and that a ‘one size fits all’ approach is not always the most effective way to inspire a love of learning.

I therefore aim to provide bespoke tutoring to suit your family, your child and their goals.

My tutoring can be designed to compliment and support what your child is learning in school, or to fit in with and enrich your homeschool program.

My priority is creating a relationship and environment, in which children feel safe to take risks with their learning, thereby building confidence and resilience and allowing them to embrace new challenges. I aim to make learning an enjoyable experience that inspires children to question and investigate further.

I have experience of outdoor learning, mainstream teaching and supporting children with special educational needs or social and emotional needs. I am therefore confident that I can support your child to excel, not just academically but enhance their confidence.

As well as being a tutor, I am a parent first and foremost, a friend and, a bit animal mad… We have two horses, a cat and a dog and would love chickens!

I love being outside, the beach is my first love, but I am just at home on the moor and love a weekend away camping.

I have always got some sort of music on, but am a diehard Pink fan. I love reading and have books piled up in every room, though my all-time favourite was Pride and Prejudice. My favourite TV series is Friends and am probably the most like Monica.

I can be incredibly clumsy, and can fall over fresh air, which always amuses my friends.

My dream is to travel around the USA, visit Mongolia, and ride on a ranch. I would also like to teach abroad.
